What's that, you say? A beautiful freshwater spinning reel from Shimano available at under £50? Pinch us, we think you're lying!
The Sedona is, as is the case with just about anything from Shimano, excellent. It's a modern reel in every sense, boasting cold-forged Hagane gears and double-anodised machine-cut spools for improved line capacity - without making the body bulkier. Thoughtful, that.
With further systems like its propulsion line management system that helps lengthen casting distances while reducing backlash, you'd be forgiven if you looked at the Sedona and assumed it to be much more expensive than it is.
Our opinion: This is a great choice for new and experienced anglers both, combining a lovely aesthetic with a range of features that make it simple to handle and effective when in use.
